Supply, demand and environment studies, and formulation of recommendations for the design of a Green Climate Fund (GCF).
The Green Climate Fund project aims to support, through targeted calls for tender, community-based or private investment field projects likely to have a positive impact on greenhouse gas emission reduction, as well as economic and environmental benefits for local populations.
HORUS DF led the feasibility study for the financing component, which was aimed at supporting financial institutions in offering adapted financing solutions to targeted projects:
- Analysis of existing financing mechanisms for such projects
- Analysis of demand and segmentation, and gap analysis by segment
- Recommendations for the design of the GCF project based on a mix of financing mechanisms and technical assistance
